Research shows that younger learners absorb language much more quickly than do older learners. Thus, we have created this course with 40-minute weekly sessions per school term. Learning activities include songs, chants, videos and basic literacy.
This course is for Caribbean students sitting the Caribbean Examinations Council's Spanish exam. The class will meet virtually twice weekly for one hour with sessions divided into two 1hour blocks each focusing on a different language profile.
Spanish for First Responders is a self-paced, online Spanish course designed for first responders who wish to communicate directly with the Spanish-speaking public during different emergency situations .
This one-semester/term course is designed to teach younger elementary students basic Spanish language. Lessons will be one hour weekly with lots of interactive activities to keep students engaged.
This course is for students in the early grades of middle and high school (Forms 1 - 3) who are desirous of learning Spanish. It will be built on lessons taught at the elementary level as well as supplement those at secondary.
This hybrid course is for students in Grades 4 -6 who will continue the study of Spanish in preparation for middle/lower secondary school. There will be one 1-hour session weekly. The maximum capacity face-to-face is 10 students.
